How would you like it if you could wake up every day and do exactly what you want? Go where you want, do what you want, learn what you want? Enjoy the flexibility of doing as you please? It would be pretty amazing, right?
There are so many new opportunities to people in today’s society for doing just that. Online businesses are booming, blogs are insane, people are becoming coaches where they don’t have to leave their house to help someone due to the amazing technology advances we are experiencing.
The United States school system is outdated, in my opinion. It teaches us things we used to need to know to make it in this world, but now the most important thing for a child to learn is how to learn, and to have a love for learning, and they will be equipped to do amazing things!
This is one of the main reasons we have chosen to homeschool our kids. The opportunity in front of us are endless and so, so, amazing! We can use homeschooling as way to learn hands on within our community, and to learn from people of all ages and races, and we can use technology like it’s intended to be used! We can learn the things needed in order to be a part of the future generation.
The school system holds children back from being a part of the new way of life. Technology isn’t going anywhere, the age of instant information isn’t going anywhere, why don’t we embrace it and use it to our best ability?!
Take the time to learn the things we want to learn, and do it in a way that works best for our children? Work with how their brains work. Work together with them to master the things that are actually important and will be used in the real adult world.
